08:14 pm - So I kinda disappeared for over a week.
On Saturday, December 20th, Tony and I left from California and drove all the way to Mississippi to see my family and pick up my two kittens from ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) grimmhooke 's house. We ended up getting there Monday night.
On Christmas Eve I started my period. Seriously. Lucky for me the cramps weren't bad and the Aleve kept them at bay on Christmas day while I visited my dad and his side of my family.
We left on the 27th planning to get there Monday, but, um, that didn't happen. Somewhere after Santa Rosa, New Mexico the clutch in Tony's car got fucked up and we had to get towed back to Santa Rosa. It was around 10 at night when we got dropped off at the auto place and then we had to walk to a hotel. It was FREEZING cold outside and the first four hotels were booked full. It was awful. I thought we were going to have to sleep in the car, plus we had the kittens with us.
The car was $1,409 to fix, but we didn't have a choice. The morning we were able to leave, on New Years Eve, I woke-up with stomach problems and during the 12 hour car ride back home I had to stop a lot to use the bathroom, and I had to pull over once to throw up THREE TIMES IN A ROW. ...
